Party Time!

Today we had my 2nd birthday party! It was pretty fun. My cousin Dillon gave me a pool, and we spent most of the afternoon playing in it!

My Mom made me a really cool cake, actually she made me 2 cakes, since I'm 2. One of them is even shaped like a 2!

The other one is shaped like a tractor, and I wouldn't let anybody eat it, since it is a tractor and I want to play with it. Mom is going to give in and let me drive it around any time now...

Here I am blowing out the candles on my tractor cake. I was pretty scared when everybody started singing Happy Birthday to me. It was just very loud, and I'm not sure I dig the attention.

After the cake and ice cream, it was time for presents, which everyone knows is the best part about birthday parties.

Of course I got the obligatory books, not that I am complaining. I love books, and one of them was actually made just for me by my Mom.

My Grandpa Wheeler sent me a groovy truck

here I am getting it dirty (breaking it in).

I think that the best thing about turning 2, is that your parents start to realize that you are not a baby anymore, and start to respect your birthday wishes. I have been dying for a chainsaw of my own, and this year, my Mom and Dad finally decided I was old enough to have one!

Don't worry! I know that you should never use a chainsaw on a person! Just on cars!

I have also been wanting my own lawnmower, since Dad won't let me play with his. My Uncle Scott and Aunt Denise hooked me up!

In all, it was an awesome party. I need to go sleep it off now!

Babies, Babies, and More Babies!

I just got ANOTHER new cousin!

His name is Scott Brandon Heer II. He was born May 9, and he was 7lbs, 11oz. That is him with his Dad, Scott Brandon Heer I.

His big sister Breanna is pretty cool.

I was hanging out at her house when Scotty was being born, and it was pretty fun.

Speaking of babies, all of my rabbits just had babies!

Here are Sugar's babies

and here are Spice's babies

I personally cannot tell them apart, but there are 21 in all!

My Newest Cousin

My newest baby cousin was born on Monday, April 9. Unfortunately, it is a girl, so I won't be able to play in the mud with her.

Her name is Mialee Ann Heer. She was 6 pounds 13 ounces.

Her brother Dillon was hanging out at my house while she was being born. My Mom made him a cool shirt.

He likes his baby sister a lot.

I like her okay, as long as my Mom isn't holding her!

When Mom Gets Bored

The other day my Mom got bored, and this was the end result.

She says the next time she gets bored, she's adding a zebra. Too bad she won't let me help...

Fishy Fish Fishes

The other day we got in our truck and went fishing! We were gone for 3 days, and we caught a lot of fish.
Here is my Dad with the first big fish he caught.

Here is my Great-Uncle Roger with the REALLY big fish he caught.

My Mom is mean. She tried to make me kiss the fish!

Here is Auntie Poo-poo with the tiny fish she caught.

Here is me catching a fish with my Dad.

I also caught a fish with my Mom and the fishing pole that my Uncle Scott got me for my birthday. My Dad tells me I am a natural fisherboy, even though I get distracted sometimes and forget to hold on to the pole.

Here's an itty bitty fish that my Mom caught and the dog tried to eat.

Me and Poo-poo did a lot of stuff together.

I was throwing a lot of rocks in the water, but it didn't scare away any fish!

I was a big bed hog when I slept with Mom and Poo-poo at the hotel.

Our room was pretty comfy.

On the last day we were fishing, we heard a big boom and saw lots of smoke, so Dad and Grandpa and I went to investigate. Someone's campfire got away from them and melted a fifth wheel camp trailer. By the time we got back with the camera, this is all that was left...

I got a good sunburn and a black eye, but I can't wait to go fishing again!

It's All Relative

So some people came and visited us last week, and apparently they are related to me. There was a kid my age- his name is Arthur, and he and I even speak the same language! It was nice to have someone that understands me for a change.

Here we are discussing the economy - I know, to you it sounds like gibberish, but believe me, I think I got him to agree with my point of view.

Mind you, we didn't spend his whole visit discussing important grown-up things, we also found time to behave like babies.

I have never taken a nap in the guest room before, but I have to say, the bed is mighty comfy!

Auntie Cheri was also visiting for a few days, and Arthur and I decided to try on he shoes, and as they say, walk a mile. We walked like 20 feet and then decided that high heels are TORTURE!

Arthur was also here for Easter. We got matching hats!

Here is Arthur's brother, Sam. He also got a hat, but I guess he didn't like it. Or maybe he didn't like having his picture taken.

Here is Arthur's dad, my Great Uncle Bruce. As you can see, he is almost as big of a dork as my Dad!

Hmm... maybe a bigger dork... I don't think my Dad has ever worn leiderhosen.

Tubby Time

I like baths. I actually really like water in general. For some odd reason (at least my Mom says it's odd), I enjoy having my hair washed. I also really like bath toys-but really, who doesn't?

And then there's splashing. You CAN'T tell me you don't LOVE splashing!

Apparently my Mom does not love splashing... Weirdo!
