Rocks Rocks Rocks!
My Dad and I built a rock wall. My Mom helped a little. We went and got a whole bunch of rocks. My job was to pick out the best rocks and have my Mom and Dad carry them to the trailer. I also found some ants. They didn't bite me, because they were nice ants.
Here is the wall, all done.

There are stairs for me to climb on. It is a lot of fun to jump off the wall!

Iris' Blessing
So on Sunday, Iris was blessed at church.
Mom made a bunch of food, and a cake, and a bunch of people came to our house. I was pretty sure it was my birthday. Even when Mom told me it wasn't my birthday, I thought she was just messing with me. Turns out it wasn't my birthday. Just Iris' blessing day.

My Tutu knitted Iris' dress.

And she knitted that blanket for my blessing day. I didn't want Iris to use it, since she is a girl, and that is a boy blanket. Mom said that it's a boy AND girl blanket.

So I shared with my sister. Because I love her.

My New Baby Sister... belated
So last month on the 25th my Mommy had our baby!
My Mommy's tummy was sooooo big!

The baby was born in a big pool in our living room.

And I was there to watch and to help.

When she came out, we were all so happy! (The water is green because of some ginger tea the midwives put into it!)

It was a baby girl, and we named her Iris.

A bunch of our family came to see the baby be born!

Here is my grandma Margo, my grandpa Eric, and my mom's friend Susan.
I sure like my sister!

This is the midwife Valerie, weighing my baby. She weighed 8 pounds, seven ounces! That is over a pound bigger than I was!

Here is Iris, one day old.

I decided since she was one day old it was time for me to hold her. (I didn't really want to hold her before, I was pretty tired.)

Now I hold her a lot and she and I do a lot of stuff together.

I'm sure glad to have a sister!

Jesus Wants Me For A Sunbeam!
Merry Christmas!
We had Christmas again!

On Christmas Eve, I got to open my Christmas pajamas!

My baby got a stroller for Christmas, and I practiced pushing it, because that is the big brother's job.

My Dad and I got lightsabers for Christmas! (He's Anakin, I'm Luke)

I also got a Batman blanket!

My Uncle Scott's doggy Duke was with us for Christmas. He got a bone!

Merry Christmas!

My Movie Soundtrack!
So my very favorite movie is The Hobbit. There is a REALLY scary part where those badguys (goblins) chase Bilbo Baggins and Gandalf and the dornes (dwarves) up into some trees.
Then they sing this song:
It is such a fun song! (and kind of scary)
(lyrics)
Fifteen Birds
In five fir trees,
Their feathers were fanned
In the fiery breeze.
What funny little birds,
They have no wings,
Oh what shall we do
With the funny little things?

Our Elk Hunt
So we got home yesterday from hunting. We were gone for 11 days!
I had a lot of fun. There was so much to do!
My Auntie Rhienne took me on some cool 4-wheeler rides

Of course I went hunting, with my Mom and Dad.

I helped my Mom and Dad look for elks to shoot.

Here is the lake we were camped by, so I did some fishing.

Because I am so much bigger this year, I had to do some chores too.
I chopped firewood

My dad helped (a little)

And of course I had to help take care of all the elk we brought in.
My Dad is a really good hunter. He got his elk on the first day!

My uncle Roger got his elk the second day (my Mom helped)

and my Grandpa got his elk on the fifth day.

My Dad also shot 5 grouse while we were there, and my Mom made grouse pasta alfredo! MMMmmmm...

Now we have lots and lots of elk to eat, and we'll do it again next year, too!

My Baby
So my Mom and Dad and I went to get a picture of my baby a few weeks ago. This lady put some blue stuff on mom's tummy and could see the baby inside!

My baby didn't want to show us if it's a boy or a girl, but I have said from the beginning that it is a baby girl. We'll just have to wait and see. It was pretty neat to see all my baby's parts though. It has hands and feet and a head just like me!
I found out the other day from my Mom that my baby is naked in her tummy. I'm not sure what to think about that, but apparently everybody is born naked, and then your mom puts clothes on you. Who knew?!
